Cryptocoryne Lucens – Medium
Pickup available at 611 Ave D
Usually ready in 24 hours
Bring fresh green texture to your aquarium with Cryptocoryne Lucens. Its slender leaves create a grassy look that pairs beautifully with driftwood, rocks, and broader-leaved plants. Plant individually for a simple accent or in a group for a fuller, natural display.
Grown submerged and ready for your aquarium. These plants are grown underwater, not emersed above the waterline.
What you receive
One medium-sized, unpotted Cryptocoryne Lucens plant with approximately 6–8-inch leaves. No pot is included. Live plants vary naturally in leaf count, size, and appearance.
Care & planting
- Water type: Freshwater.
- Lighting: Low to moderate aquarium lighting.
- CO₂: Added CO₂ is not required.
- Planting: Place roots into aquarium substrate while keeping the crown, where the leaves meet the roots, above the substrate.
- Nutrition: Nutrient-rich substrate or aquarium root tabs can support growth.
- Acclimation: Even submerged-grown crypts may shed older leaves after shipping or a change in conditions, often called crypt melt. Remove deteriorating leaves and give healthy roots time to establish in stable conditions.
Choose a planting spot with room for growth and avoid repeatedly moving the plant while it settles in.
