Dwarf Sagittaria (Sagittaria subulata)

Dwarf Sagittaria is a beginner-friendly carpet plant that stays short and spreads quickly, forming a dense, grassy carpet across the front of your tank.

• Placement: Foreground to midground. Stays relatively short (4-6 inches) but can grow taller in low light.
• Difficulty: Very easy. Extremely forgiving and adaptable to various water conditions.
• Temperature: 68-82°F. Thrives across most tropical tank temperatures.
• pH: 6.0-8.0. Tolerates a very wide range, making it suitable for almost any tank.
• Lighting: Low to high. In low light it grows slower and taller (up to 10-12 inches); high light keeps it dense and short for a carpet effect and spreads faster.
• CO2: Not required. Optional, but will greatly increase the growth rate and density of the carpet.
• Growth and spreading: Fast, via runners. Spreads quickly by sending out runners along the substrate to form a dense carpet.
