Dwarf Water Onion Bulb (Zephyranthes candida)
Add graceful vertical movement and unique texture to your aquascape with the Dwarf Water Onion! Growing from a small, scallion-like bulb, this hardy plant produces slender, bright green, reed-like leaves that sway gently in the current. It is an easy-to-care-for centerpiece or background plant that provides natural shelter and grazing spots for shrimp, nano fish, and fry.
Low Maintenance: Great for beginners; does not require high tech or CO₂ setups.
Planting Depth: Do not bury the entire bulb! Press the roots gently into your substrate while keeping the top half to two-thirds of the bulb exposed. Fully burying the bulb can cause it to rot.
